持而盈之,不如其已;
揣而锐之,不可长保。
金玉满堂,莫之能守;
富贵而骄,自遗其咎。
功遂身退,天之道。

It’s better not to brim-fill a bowl than have it spills over; if you sharpen a blade, making it extremely sharp, you will not be able to keep it constantly sharp; if a house is full of gold and jade, no one could protect them; If we are filled with wealth and honor, and pride ourselves, we will bring misfortune.
When you've done great things, you have to step aside afterward. This is the way of heaven.
