The man who knows the Tao does not speak; the one who speaks a lot does not know it.
He controls his desires, closes his appetite, dulls his aggressiveness, frees himself from all his troubles, moderates his splendor, and assimilates to local custom. We could say he unifies with the Tao.
He is indifferent to relatives or strangers, to profit or loss, to nobles or commoners.
This is why he is the most beloved man in the world.
