使我介然有知,行于大道,唯施是畏。
大道甚夷,而人好径。朝甚除,田甚芜,仓甚虚;服文采,带利剑,厌饮食,财货有馀;是为盗夸。非道哉!

If I have a little common sense, when I walk on a big track, the only thing I have to worry about is losing the way. The main road is very plain, but a lot of people like trails.
The palaces are very luxurious, but the fields are deserted, and the granaries very empty. The princes dress in fancy clothes; they carry sharp swords; they ingest a number of exquisite dishes to the point of disgust; they are full of wealth.
These are heads of thieves! Their way is very far from the Tao.
